Slingstar is an arcade game developed by Jonathan Hill (“we”). This policy explains what data the app handles.
We operate no servers and hold no accounts. There is nothing to sign up for, and we never receive your data directly. Your progress — scores, coins, skins and settings — is stored on your device.
Two things the game uses do send data off your device:
Both are handled by Google or Apple under their own privacy policies. We never see either one, and we store nothing about you anywhere.
Purchases are processed entirely by the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. We never receive or store your payment details.
Slingstar shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process data such as your device’s advertising ID, IP address, and coarse device information to serve and measure ads, as described in Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from partner apps. You can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization in your device’s Google settings.
Where the law requires it — including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and US states with privacy legislation — Slingstar asks for your choices about personalized advertising before it requests any ad. You can change those choices at any time from the PRIVACY button on the game’s title screen.
On iPhone and iPad, Slingstar also asks permission to track you across other companies’ apps and websites, using Apple’s standard prompt. Declining costs you nothing: the game plays identically and you still see ads, they are simply less relevant. You can change your answer in Settings under Privacy & Security, then Tracking.
Slingstar is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
